On June 5, 2019, a live inspection was conducted on Pole No. 01 of a 10kV line operated by Jiangxi State Grid Power Supply Bureau. Ultrasonic abnormalities were detected during the inspection. When the line was powered down for further examination, it was found that the cable connection terminal inside the cable chamber was positioned too close to the umbrella skirt, causing partial discharge.
