Zhuhai Huawang Technology Co., Ltd. (HUWOR) is listed among the drafting organisations of T/EPTC 002-2022, Technical specification of 10 kV intelligent distribution transformer, a group standard proposed and issued by the Zhongguancun Smart Electric Power Industry Technology Alliance (Zhongguancun EPTC) and under the jurisdiction of its Standardization Working Committee. The standard was published on 2022-12-27 and implemented on 2022-12-31.
About the standard
As the construction of the new power system raises the intelligence level of distribution equipment, distribution transformers increasingly integrate intelligent terminals, power quality monitoring and integrated sensing. T/EPTC 002-2022 provides the design, manufacturing and inspection guidance for 10 kV intelligent distribution transformers, standardising their interface with terminals and systems. The standard covers the general requirements, composition (transformer body, sensors, control execution components and intelligent monitoring unit), functions, tests, transport and acceptance of smart distribution transformers.
Before this standard, GB/Z 34935-2017 covered oil-immersed intelligent power transformers at 66 kV to 750 kV, but no standard addressed the widely deployed 10 kV intelligent distribution transformer – a gap T/EPTC 002-2022 fills.
Drafting participation
Fifteen organisations took part in drafting the standard, including Shandong Electric Engineering Group Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd., State Grid Yiwu Power Supply Company, Shandong Kehui Power Automation Co., Ltd., XJ Transformer Co., Ltd., Yunnan Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute, State Grid Beijing Electric Power Research Institute, State Grid Shandong Electric Power Research Institute, and Zhuhai Huawang Technology Co., Ltd. Twenty-two drafting personnel are credited, and this is the first release of the standard.
